Privacy policy

This is the personal website of T.G. Prasanna (tgprasanna.com). It does not sell anything and does not use advertising or tracking cookies.

What we collect

We only collect what you choose to send through a form on this site:

• Book reviews: your name, optional city and email, your rating and your review.
• Invitations and messages: your name, organisation, email, optional phone number and your message.

How we use it

• Reviews are published on the site, with your name and city, only after the author approves them and only if you have agreed to publication. Your email address is never published.
• Invitations and messages are used only to reply to you.
• We do not sell or share your information with anyone for marketing.

Where it is stored

Form responses are stored in the author’s Google account (Google Forms and Google Sheets). Google processes this data under its own privacy policy.

Other services on this site

• Trailers and video reviews are hosted on YouTube. A video loads from YouTube’s privacy-enhanced service only when you press play.
• Instagram posts on book pages load from Instagram only when you press “Show the posts”. Instagram may then set its own cookies.
• Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts.
• Buy links take you to publishers’ and stores’ websites, which have their own privacy policies.

Your choices

You can ask us to correct or delete your review or any message you have sent, under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. Use the contact page or write to [email protected].
